Welcome to Slovak paradise
Tourist hostel Hornád is located in the village of Spišské Tomášovce which is the gateway to the Slovak Paradise National Park.
Slovak Paradise with its gorges and waterfalls, hiking and nature trails, beautiful views of the surroundings and unspoiled nature attracts many visitors to repeat visits. Visitors can choose between hiking, mountain hiking, cycling.
We are a recreational hostel focused on active visitors to Slovak Paradise and the surrounding area. We focus on individual tourists as well as groups. We have 13 rooms with a capacity of 40 beds, a shared kitchenette, a garden area with a terrace, a barbecue area, a children's playground, and a volleyball court. In the summer season we offer hospitality services that you can enjoy while playing ping-pong or billiards. We operate year-round

The entire building has high-speed internet coverage.

Recepcion
Our reception is not open 24/7. We are available by phone or through social networks.
Ferrata set
The via ferrata set is mandatory in the HZS Kyseľ gorge. The price for accommodated guests is €10/set.
North walking poles
We rent north walking poles. Price for accommodated guests €2 / set.
Kitchen
Available to all guests, a fully equipped common kitchen intended for heating and preparing quick meals. The kitchen is NOT part of the room. However, there is a mini fridge in every room.
Night silence
Between 10:00PM and 6AM nighttime silence is ordered in the building.
Loggia
The accommodation has a common balcony with seating. Smoking allowed. Fanning is prohibited in all other areas of the hostel.
Pets
Pets allowed. Fee for connection with cleaning €5 / stay with an animal (this fee is one-time, does not apply to the length of stay).
Parking
There is a free parking lot in front of the building, reserved for hostel guests. The parking lot is secured by a camera system.
Bicycle storage
Safe storage of bicycles in the building. Secured with a lock and camera system.
Pub
In the summer season, hospitality operation in the building of the Hornád hostel. Offer here.
Fireplace
Fireplace on the garden area. For a fee of €5, all the necessary things for roasting are available (wood, roasting sticks, axe, fire...)
Cards
We accept cash payments and all payment cards.
Souvenirs
In the Hornád hostel, you can buy gifts with the theme of the Slovak Paradise, maps of the Slovak Paradise and others.
Diet
We offer half board for groups of over 20 people. During the summer season, pizza and other options are available.
Public transport
Easy train connection. Spišské Tomášovce stop 550 m away. In the summer season, transport operates within the framework of the Slovak paradise. (from us to: Hrabušice-Podlesok, Dobšiná, Stratená, Palcmanská Máša)
